everyday make up updated...

I'm fairly sure my first ever post on here was every day make up as that seemed to make sense at the time - it still does make sense... anyway!
Today i thought i'd update it as it's pretty much completely different and i think it's quite interesting to take a peek into peoples everyday make up!

Benefit The POREfessional - John Lewis £23.50
As you can see i only have the tester tube of this - i'm not 100% sure how i feel about this yet but i've not really been using it for long enough. It's rather expensive for such a small amount so i want to know i love it before i spend all that money!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation '103 True Ivory' - Boots £8.99
I think i am on my third day of using this and i am really enjoying it so far! It smells great and as it's a bit darker than my normal foundation it gives me a bit more colour - which i don't particularly love but it does make me look healthier!
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum '51 Light Vanilla' - Boots £10.99
I absolutely love this! It smells incredible and it makes my face look flawless when i wear it alone but recently i've been using a very thing layer of this as a base when i put my Rimmel foundation on. I know it seems like i put a lot of product on my face (which i probably do) but i put quite thin layers of everything on!

Benefit Hello Flawless! Powder 'Gee I'm Swell 'Shell' - John Lewis £24.50
I really love this! There isn't a lot i can say about it as it's a powder but it doesn't dry my face out and it sits really well on my skin. I would recommend this and i probably will repurchase when i run out!

Benefit Smokin' Eyes Palette - John Lewis £28.50
My lovely friend Danielle gave me this and i do love the pinky shade and the silver shade in the palette as well but as you can tell i reach for the darker shade a lot more! This is the colour i use for my eyebrows - it might seem a bit dark but my eyebrows are naturally very dark and i've not found a colour yet that matches them as well as this! I don't know what i'm going to do when i run out!

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder 'Maui 3' - Bobbi Brown £26
A few weeks ago i was loving coral now i'm loving pinks! There is something about this gloomy weather that makes me want to wear pink cheeks and i just absolutely love this product! It gives your cheeks a lovely wash of pink with shimmers of bronze in between. It really is the perfect cheek colour!

Dior Shimmer Powder '001 Rose Diamond' - John Lewis £32
I wont go into too much detail but i will say that i absolutely love this gorgeous thing! A lot of the time i'll wear this as a wash of colour alone as it's not too in your face but i love using this with my Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzing Powder because it adds that bit of glamour to my face and makes me feel like a million 'bucks' I really do recommend this to everyone and don't let the price tag put you off - i have a feeling this will last an extremely long time!

MAC Palette MAC £10 (per shadow)
Left - Right
Wedge, Sumptuous Olive, Rice Paper,
Amber Lights, Cranberry, Sumptuous Olive (i know i've got two but one was given to me), Gleam
All That Glitters (this is a duff one), Naked Lunch, Purple Haze & All That Glitters (a new one from my boyfriend!)

When i am feeling quite colourful i head over to this palette and have a lot of fun mixing all the colours up! I thought i'd show you all these eyeshadows as i never wear the same make up two days in a row. I don't like getting in a rut with my make up so i change my shadows around every single day!

Urban Decay Naked Palette - Debenhams £36
I also felt it necessary to show you my Naked 1 & 2 palettes as they're often what i reach for as well. These are more my work colours as they're muted compared to a lot of my eyeshadows and they're perfect for creating lots and lots of different looks. These are a definite staple in your make up collection!

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - Debenhams £36
Another wonderful palette! I think having both Naked 1 & 2 is a good idea as the colours are extremely different. I love this one because it has cooler toned colours in so it's great for nights out if you want to do a dark smokey eye. I use this mainly for work as well because they're still neutral colours!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara - Superdrug £4.99 (£2.00 off at the moment)
I've just started using it and i really love it because the brush is SO big! It feels lovely when applied and doesn't clump the eyelashes together. I use this after Maybelline OnebyOne because it divides my eyelashes up really well!
Maybelline One by One Mascara - Boots £8.49
This is always my mascara of choice. Once i've curled my eyelashes i go straight onto this. I like it more when it's dried out a little bit as the formula is quite watery but it's still amazing when it's fresh! And there is nothing better than a fresh mascara - it's my biggest weakness!!

Revlon Lip Butter '015 Tutti Frutti' - Superdrug £5.99 (£2.00 off at the moment)
This isn't my everyday lip colour but it is the colour i chose to wear today! I change colours around every day depending on how i'm feeling and today i felt tutti fruitti-ish (um what?). This is a perfect shade for work as it's not too 'in your face' but it's noticable and looks lovely on the lips! These really are very moisturizing and you don't need to wear a lip balm with them.. Perfect!

So that's my everyday make up! Do you use any of these products daily? Please let me know ... I love to know what everyone uses! XO

  1. I found a product that I think is heaps better than lip butters. Its like Korres Mango Butter lipstick. I did a quick review and comparison with lip butters on my blog today. Let me know what you think xx
